教学设计

The intended students: Grade five

Teaching materials:

It is a dialogue about a story that a new student Nancy comes to Yang Lings school. Yang Ling shows her around the school. They talk about the school, especially about the different rooms on different floors. The story is closed related with the studentsown life, which can arouse their interest easily and help them learn better.

3. Teaching objectives:

After the lesson, the students will be able to:

1. know some new words about school and floors: computer room, library, music room, classroom, the first floor, the second floor, the third floor.

2. understand the dialogue and read it fluently .

3. Develop their love to their school.

Duration: 40 min

Teaching important points:

Help the students to understand the dialogue.

Teaching difficult points:

Students to understand the dialogue and read it fluently.

Teaching methods: communicative teaching approach.

Teaching aids: Multi-media.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 warm-up and lead-in

1. Enjoy a song: In the classroom

2. Try to say: Whats in the classroom in the song?  (Picture on PPT)

3. Try to answer: (Picture on PPT)

Is there a ... in our classroom?  Yes, there is.

Are there any ...s in our classroom? Yes, there are.

4. Lets guess: Whats this room?

Some descriptions about different room.

Library; computer room, table tennis room, music room.

Step 2 pre-reading

A new student comes to Yang Lings school. Miss Li asks Yang Ling to show her abound. Teach the new phrase: show... around. (intended to reveal the topic of this unit.)

Step 3 while-reading

1. Watch and tick. What rooms are they talking about?

2. Reading time.

(1) Read and underline the questions Nancy asks:

How many classrooms are there in our school?

Are there any computer rooms?

Is there a music room?

(2) Ask and answer in pairs to find out the answers to the three questions.

3. Read, discuss and finish: Where are these rooms?

上课教师反思

2017年9月13日,在刚开学的第三周,我很荣幸的上了本校的第一堂英语教研课,这次评课邀请了中心校的大咖张老师,当然还有我们本校的优秀的同行们,在课后,他们中肯的帮我点评,让我受益匪浅。

这堂课的主要内容是学习一个对话,对话内容是杨玲带着转校生南希参观她的新学校,介绍学校里的教室,以及各个功能教室都在哪里。教学内容很贴近学生的学习生活,很具情境性,这对于学习理解有一定的帮助。所涉及的重点句型主要是There be句型的一般疑问句,这是教学重点,也是难点之一。因为第一单元学生们才刚刚学习了There be句型的陈述句,对这一句型掌握的还不是特别的熟练,在这种情况下,再去学习这一句型的一般疑问句,对于学生来说确实有一定的难度。同时,本课也涉及到序数词的使用,这也是教学难点之一。再者,这段对话缺乏一定的趣味性,而且比较长,如何让课堂变得生动有趣,也是一大难点。所以,在课前进行教学设计的时候,我思考了很多,最后决定由浅入深的层层剖析课文,争取提高学生在课堂上学习的效率。

课堂教学过程,按照我的教学设计一步一步的走,整体感觉还是不错的,学生们也很认真的学习,教学效果还是蛮不错的。但是,我在教学过程中发现,课堂的气氛不够活跃,学生们在我的引导下,也是按部就班的学习,但是,给我的感觉就是配合不够积极,我觉得我没有让课堂活起来。经过大家的讨论以及我自的思考,我认为,应当从以下几个方面让英语课堂活起来。

首先,应当重视学生的主体地位,发扬教学民主,创设和谐气氛,增强学生的参与意识,让学生在课堂中活起来。在教学伊始,我们需要诱发学生的学习动机、激发其学习兴趣。可以通过设置悬念、创设情境等方式,将学生置于心求通而未达,口欲言而不能的心理状态。给他们创造出一个急需学习的情况,这样,他们才能够更加迫切的去学习,提高学习的效率。在教学过程中,需要树立学生的自信心与勇气,增强学生的参与意识。英语学科的教学特色是充分发挥其语言功能,讲究对话的艺术。这就要求教师引导学生全体主动参与,使其克服羞于开口的毛病,积极参与语言交际活动。可以采用表扬和鼓励的话语激励学生,让学生能够大胆地表现自己,尽量创设大量情境并提供广泛的语言材料,让学生进行听说读写训练。

其次,要给学生提供机会,开展各种活动,促进人人参与。学生的学习缺乏英语语言环境,在课外他们也没有听说的机会。针对这样的情况,我们就应该多给学生提供“习得”的机会,并非让他们有意识地学习,而是一种“无意识、无压力、无包袱”的学习氛围,让学生在不知不觉中受益,这就需要打破课堂常规,不限于传统课堂上的知识传授,在课堂上创造真实情景,让学生在真实环境中习得语言。

最重要的是要能够做到让学生玩中有学,学中有玩。爱玩是孩子的本性。可以利用这一点,采取多种形式促进学生的学习。比如,在单词学习中,可以让学生在各种游戏中慢慢习得单词,而不是死记硬背单词。在他们对很多的单词似懂非懂的情况下,采用各种游戏形式进行渗透,如 Pass the card(传卡片),Do the action(听音做动作),Find your friend(找朋友),Draw and Colour(画一画 涂一涂)等,在游戏中通过多听、反复感觉,从而在脑海里的印象就加深了,这样不仅可以让学生尽情投入到游戏中,还可以减轻学生的心理压力和负担,给学生一个轻松和谐的语言环境,也使得课堂充满活力。

总之,作为新时代的英语教师,特别是我们农村的英语教师,要认真学习新的英语课程标准理念,重新构建新的小学英语教学模式,大胆探索与实践,使小学英语走进一片自由、崭新的天空,让英语课堂活起来!
