一、活动实录:

2017年5月22日,我校进行了英语新教师赛课活动。此次赛课由陶慧敏和赵冰两位新教师执教,分别教授三四年级的unit8 storytime,活动中每位英语老师都积极参加听课,最后活动开展的很顺利。

二、教师教案:

Unit 8 How are you? Story time

Teaching objectives:

After learning, the students will be able to

1) understand the whole stroy.

2) know how to make telephone calls.

3) read and act out the story.

4) know how to show concern to others.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 lead-in & warm up

1. Enjoy a song: How are you?

  What do you hear in the song?

  How are you? I’m fine,

2. Reveal the topic----Hare are you?

3. Play a game: Me too.

4. Make a telephone call:

  -Hello, this is A speaking. May I speak to B?   -Hello A, this is B.

  Pair work: make telephone calls in pairs.

Step 2 while-reading

1. Listen and choose:

  Two telephone calls in the story.

  Who are making the telephone calls? Yang Ling and Miss Li.

2. Watch and choose. (整体感知课文。)

   Can Yang Ling come to school today?

   A. Yes, she can. B. No, she can’t.

   Why does Miss Li call Yang Ling?

   A. Call for care. B. Call for blame.

3. Read and circle.(课文第一部分。)

   What’s the matter with Yang Ling?

   She has a cold and a fever.  cold 感冒  fever 发烧

4. Read and underline.

  What does Miss Li say when she knows that Yang Ling is ill?

  (Miss Li知道杨玲生病后说了什么?)

   I’m sorry to hear that. 听到这个消息我很遗憾。Take care. 保重。

5. Let’s read. Read the sentences emotionally.

  I’m sorry to hear that. Take care,Yang Ling.

6. Listen and choose. (课文第二部分。)

  How is Yang Ling now?  A. She is not so good. B. She’s fine now. 

  Can she come to school tomorrow? A. Yes, she can. B. No, she can’t. 

7. Enjoy reading.

8. Happy reading. Choose one way to read.

  1) read by yourselves 2) read in roles 3) read together in groups

9. Acting time. Choose one part to act or act the whole story.

Step 3 post-reading

1. Let’s summarize.

  Im ill today. I __can’t___ come to school. I have a _cold____ and a __fever___. Miss Li is _sorry____ to hear that. I tell Miss Li that Im __fine___ in the afternoon.I __can___ go to school __tomorrow________ .

2. Show time.

   请你扮演Yang Ling的同学MikeHelen,任选一个时间打个电话关心一下她的情况吧。(两人一组编对话。)

Unit 8 Were twins! 第一课时                          

 一、教学目标: 

 能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇:we, girl, man, woman, boy.

 能听懂、会说、会读词汇were=we are, twin, aunt, baby, cousin. 

 能听懂、会说、会读日常用语与句型:

   Who is she /he?                

   Shes my aunt. /Hes my uncle.                         Whos that girl? 

      Shes Su Hai. / Shes my sister.                        Were twins. 

二、教学重点: 

1.掌握句型:Who is she /he? Shes my aunt. /Hes my uncle. 

2.掌握词汇:we, twin, aunt, girl, man, woman, boy, baby, cousin. 

三、教学难点: 

1.掌握句型:Who is he / she / that girl / . . .?的语调和用法 

2.掌握词汇:twin, aunt, man, woman, girl的读音 

四、教学准备:

教学过程: 

Step1:  Warming up   

1. Greetings 

2.Lets guess: Who is he? 出示图图照片,让学生猜是谁。  

Step2: Presentation   

看图图的照片,出示(男孩)字样,让学生说出He’s a boy

同上出示图图的爸爸妈妈和朋友小美的图片,引导学生说出:manwomangirl

出示Miss LiMr Green的照片,引导说出:Whos that man/woman? 

4.Learn Story time 

T:Today were going to share a story about the twins. 

(1) show the picture of Mike:Where is Mike?

(2) Watch and answer the question:

  Why are there so many people at school? 学校今天为什么这么多人?  

A. Its sports day. B. Its open day. 

(3) Ss: Choose B. 

T: How do you know? 出示学校图片,指出open day,简单介绍open day. 

(3) Who will they meet at school? 出示uncleaunt的图片,教授新单词。 

(4) Can you distinguish the twins? What are the differences? Try to find them. 大家来找茬。

 Work in groups of 4, act the story in your group. Listen carefully and judge sincerely.
